Traditional Turkish Bath — Scrub, Foam Wash & Full Massage

A 90-minute hammam session at a working historic bathhouse — not a hotel spa annexe, a proper hammam with a heated göbek taşı marble platform and the full traditional sequence. You start by lying on the marble for 15–20 minutes to open your pores, then the tellak does the kese scrub (a coarse mitt exfoliation that removes more dead skin than most people expect), followed by a full foam wash using olive-oil soap, then a 20-minute massage on the marble. A mud mask closes the session. Peştemal (traditional cotton wrap) is provided throughout. The hammam sequence is communal in the sense that the marble platform is shared — you are in a separate private alcove for the massage — but the group atmosphere is part of the experience rather than a compromise.
